  1. Ignore Richie's reply above me, I think he is missing the point. Yes you can change the font for year and manufacturer. It's done by editing the settings file for that system. You want to scroll all the way down and edit the game text section. It uses the same parameters as the wheel text.
  2. I think there was already a similar thread somewhere from a couple of years ago. Found the link after some digging: Games I would add to that list and have not seen in the first post: Risk of Rain (don't know if fully compatible with gamepad but works with either xpadder or joytokey) Pokemon Uranium Pokemon Insurgence Dead Cells (still in early access but already enough content to include it) The Swindle Killer Instinct 2013 (get the Steam version instead of the Windows Store) Aqua Kitty Milk Mine Defender Absolute Drift Zen Edition Crimzon Clover World Ignition Steredenn Double Dragon IV Double Dragon Neon Raiden IV Overkill Slain Back From Hell
It's a good effort but the quality is very poor. A lot of the fade screens are 4:3 images with the leftover space filled in by a totally different picture, usually cut off too. Some games just have art from prior or later versions, VF and SF are like this. There's also the game logo already on most of these images, which is kinda useless since fade mostly has the game logo on by default. A lot of redundant files in this pack as well. I don't need hundreds infobars and layer3/4 images, I just need the one that's in the DEFAULT directory. If you are really desperate to get some fade screens then this pack might be for you, otherwise I would stay far away.
  3. I'm sure it's taking so long because they are adding in Denuvo
  4. Yeah Rlauncher doesn't care all that much about capitalisation but I know from experience that Hyperspin insists the rom and media are named correctly. There's tools which do just that tho, look for Don's HyperSpin Tools 4.3.0 Beta if you need to rename a bunch of files at once.
  5. Make sure your roms are named exactly like the listing in the database. Names are CaSe sensitive and this will probably be your issue.
  6. Hi, there is software that allows what you want.
  7. CRC doesn't really matter if you just want to play the game. You can use the Tosec set if it makes you feel any better I personally have the no-intro set and didn't really encounter any problems with roms marked as bad. You can fuzzy match the tosec set with Don's hypertools for easy renaming. The only time where CRC does matter is if you want to apply a translation patch to the game where it states that it requires that specific rom.
  8. You would at least need a 300dpi template and use CMYK colors instead of RGB but the specifics depends on the printer. You can set the dimensions of your canvas in inches instead of pixels. If you know where you will print out your artwork the company will have more details on how you would supply your psd file or whatever format they use. If you don't know which company you will use, we can't give you those details at all. It all depends on which company you choose so contact them and they will inform you.
  9. Yup, no problems with it at all. I've got all my roms & frontend stuff sitting on the E drive.
  10. Yeah totally, it doesn't matter where it's stored. As long as you put in it in the root of the drive. Actually it's not needed to be there but will prevent errors with extremely long path names.
  11. You need to setup a GLOBAL default, Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher profile alongside any game/emulator profiles you might have. That way RocketLauncher knows to go back to the default profile once you exit an emulator. I can't recall for sure the default profile is necessary, but the other two are required if you want RL to switch back. The Hyperspin one is for controlling the frontend obviously and Rocketlauncher profile is a must when browsing Hyperpause. But if you search for JoyToKey on the forums here I'm sure you will come across many threads including some tutorials on how to set it all up.
  12. You can force an update of Rocketlauncher and it will detect the faulty module and will ask you to download it again. Go into Rocketlauncher then on the last tab (RLUI) click on the check for updates button under the settings tab. I'm not running the latest build of PCSX2 , currently on a 1.5.0 dev version, but didn't encounter any issues with it; even with fade turned on. Also have no problems with shutting down the emulator. This is more a problem for Rocketlauncher. You could try and go visit their forums to see if you can find more info about your issue.
  13. I had a similar problem but only with multi disc games. Try and change the module settings hide_ePSXe_gui to false. I'm not using fullscreen cause I like my bezels.

    PSX ROMS?

You need to set the module settings in RocketLauncher if you want to use shaders. You can even have different settings per rom depending on if you are playing a 3D game vs a 2D game with sprites. I found that some shaders are geared more towards 2D sprite games vs 3D polygons. As for controls not working on some games that is because not all PSX games support the dual shock controller. You can press F5 to switch modes in the emulator though.
  15. Double optical drive and dual floppies. You aren't going to use those for them illegal copies aren't you? What speeds you get when you hit that turbo button? Can the numbers all fit on that display?
  16. What's the name of this beast and of course since it's 2017 you gotta have those RGB's.
  17. Nes isn't an arcade system. I assume you mean that you want to play systems from the early to mid eighties up until the mid 2000's? Geforce GTX 570 or AMD equivalent would be the minimum for the later generations. 8Gb of RAM would probably be enough and any cpu with at least a dual core and clocked at 3.5Ghz (overclocking to over 4Ghz at least would be a must) If you plan to include PS2/Gamecube games than the graphics card would be a bit on the low side but those are the absolute minimal requirements if I were to make such a build myself. I would probably go with a GTX950, not high-end by any means but surely better than the absolute minimum. FPS isn't really a big deal when emulating, as long as you consistently keep the framerate the same as how it was on the hardware you are fine which is mostly 60FPS Your English is fine, I've seen way worse and some people don't even try.
  18. There's not really such a thing as a template for wheels due to the fact that the art for most games are not universally the same. Each wheel has to be made individually either through a redraw or a cutout. You could however make a request in the Artwork Section for any game where you don't have artwork for.
  19. No it requires you to create a ini file with the database name and your rom name, but I saw too late this was for Android.
  20. Or you could use rom mapping from RocketLauncher. *Edit: oops didn't saw this was the android forum, you guys don't have RocketLauncher
  21. I can understand that, would solve a lot of issues with novice users not knowing what to do and flooding the forum with questions. Thatman above me made some good points about the UI and I like to add the following. The + button was my biggest problem I didn't even click it because it was so out of place on the bottom right. (Interesting read on how people browse websites which also can be useful for applications Here ) The "systems" and "settings" aren't clickable but are titles which also confused me. Grayed out made me think they are menus which are currently disabled. When adding a system make it so the drop down shows more than 5 items, especially so when browsing a list with close to 200 items. If there is no data to sync when configuring a system make it so there's something telling you nothing is availble instead of only showing "don't sync" (similar as to how you show the different box/cart options) There's a tooltip when you hover over "Sync all" but none throughout the rest of the UI. The + button only tells me what it does after I click it, same thing with the config and save button (save button is kinda obvious tho) I thought the logout button was actually to slide the column to the left hiding the menu, again no tooltip. These were some of the things I had problems with and would want to see changed if possible. I would also take the opportunity to applaud your attitude towards all this feedback. You obviously spend a whole lot of time on this project and I assume it must not be easy to read all this criticism after putting in the hours. Thank you!
  22. I've had a few issues with earlier versions. Most of them related to the UI, it's not very intuitive on how to use the app. Going back to the forum and reading the first post helped me in setting it up, but I shouldn't have to do that. More recent versions are better in that aspect tho (v0.26 and onwards). I can add systems and the syncing works fine for the systems I tested but the UI could be better imo. Maybe add a wizard of some sort on first launch of the program to know that you need to add systems. As for syncing, I don't understand why you need it to point to the roms folder if HBL just downloads anything that is available for that system. I also wonder if it does a recursive search? As an example, I'm using the latest dev DB for PC Engine which is a heavily trimmed down version of the one on Hyperlist (191 vs 294 games) and my roms folder only has those 191 roms but after syncing I have an excess of 125 files. I also don't approve that it's a completely silent installation. As a power user I like to have choice over where programs are installed. When uninstalling it also leaves residual files on my system in both appdata\local and \appdata\Roaming and the start menu. It does the job in the end but it's not very intuitive on how to use but that's why it's a beta I guess
  23. Games don't turn up in the audit if you have them set in the Alternate Emulator section, this is mentioned on the wiki of RL. Try and launch them and they should work fine if you have set all the paths and emulators in RL, make sure that the database has the same files as your rom names too. It's best to rename the database to match your roms since it's a custom database anyways. Otherwise you run into problems for your main systems. But if you do any renaming you must match the media files to reflect your changes.
  24. I have found the setting you need to change to be able to set MAME as default emulator. Pick Global from the list on the left --> choose RocketLauncherUI --> under General options disable Valid Emulator/Modules Only This will save you some entries in the Alternate Emulators section under Games.
