Many USB controllers and Button Mapping

Guys I am onto button saving mapping for multiple controllers now, I have 2 x 360 wired pads and they work well with most emulators, however I also have multiple USB controllers for the following:

2 x USB SNES controllers

2 x Nintendo USB

2x N64 USB

and my main 2 x Q4 QANBA RAF fightsticks (used for all fighting games)

So all in I have about 10 controllers, the problem I have is mapping them all, I assume I use XPADDER? Or is there a better program?

Does it support multiple controllers? and is it easy to setup? Does it recognise the device plugged in and play on that system?

I have a powered USB HUB, and all my controllers are plugged in at the moment ready to be mapped via the best program

I want it just to be start up and play rather than having to map buttons everytime

So appreciate any help

I have a similar setup to you.  2x SNES controllers, 2X gamecube controllers, 2X playstation controllers, and 2X xbox360 wired controllers.  I use my main xbox360 controller for some systems, PC games, and to navigate hyperspin.  That runs through Pinnacle Game Profiler which works great.  I went into each emulator and set controls for all the other controllers, so those just work all the time.  The only time I use xpadder is for some games that have a 2 player option on PC that doesn't detect the 360 gamepad, so I have to make a 2 player profile for xpadder to autodetect.  Other than that, everything is handled by emulators, and Pinnacle Game Profiler for PC/Hyperspin Navigation.  So far no real troubles.

I had a lot of issues with Xpadder, i think that if you don't have an up to date version or a purchased version it will give a lot of problems, i have used Joy2Key instead, and everything has set up sweet, i have 8 different usb joypads all set up and working, joy2key has no problem switching the profiles either, which was the big problem i got with xpadder, it either didn't switch profiles or shut down completely whilst hyper spin was active

Xpadder tips: Make sure xpadder is set to 'run as admin' and also make sure no emulators are set to 'run as admin' as xpadder likes to be the boss at all times, it also prefers you run as windows 98 for win7 and windows xp for vista. hope you can get it working better than i did as i would love to know how!?!?! lol

good luck
