juannovelo2015 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 So I'm deciding what would be the best options for an arcade build? I want to know what would be the recommended specifation of a laptop to run hyperspin with Mame and neo and platforms such as NES SNES and Sega Genesis. And what are the best set of arcade buttons from Amazon, that i can buy that will last long. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
symbyosis Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 I am relatively new to hyperspin, but not new to emulation, to emulate a nes, snes or genesis, anything pentium 2 or above would do that without a hiccup. as for arcade stuff look up all sanwa stuff...I hope I helped out atleast a little bit.
Metalzoic Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Check out the arcade shops to buy your stuff like Ultimarc.com, groovygamegear.com and a few others. Don't just start buying cheap buttons and gear from Amazon (or elsewhere) unless you want to be unhappy or end up needing to replace it. If you're building a cab and want to use a keyboard encoder (as most tend to do) then I'd recommend the iPac as it's solid and fairly hassle free. There are other encoders, but many others seem to generate help topics here or be a pain to even get working or wire correctly.
