Can you keep the current wheel art from not fading out or fader later ?

Not sure if this is where to ask but I find it hard to see all the wheel art when you are scrolling through on my default setup. I thought it would be nice to fade the previous and next wheels and leave the one idicated by the pointer full opacity.

Can this be done ?

Yes you can, you have to edit the theme in hypertheme like this.

 

Add a wheel image to the theme in artwork 4  after you did that select the option exclude from output., place it exactly where the wheel should be, easiest way is take a screenshot of HS and load that as the background then place the wheel image over it. after you done that replace the background again to you original one. then place all the wheels in the artwork 4 folder. set your wheel fade in the hyperhq settings to whatever you want and now the wheels will fade out and the selected game will stay on screen.

Thanks for this reply, seems easy enough to do just that most of the themes I have installed already use 4 layers of art.

Can I do 5 layers or maybe utitilize the special art features ?

i need to know what kinda default you are using. are you using a custom one made by yourself or the ones that come with HS?
