howardseth Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Seems easy but I am having a difficult time with this simple concept. I have windows 7 x64 tried using Xarcade Tankstick with the hotkey.exe they provided for start button 1,2 to escape. It doesn't work. I am using hyperspin w/rocketlauncher and I tried to go into hyperhq to set esc =1+2.. That didn't work. I tried in mame to set the UI as 1+2 and that didn't work. I am pretty good at following directions but there seems to be a lot of inconsistent tutorials including major button remapping (which doesn't make a lot of sense to me either). Any suggestions or direction would be welcome. I will even gladly accept a pointer to some place else. I just would like to know what I can do to make this work. Thanks ahead of time!
albert_c Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 It is done in RocketLauncher>Global Settings. When you find great deals on Craigslist for CRT based cabs, exuberance can be a bad thing! Current status of cabs: 0/5 working as desired :wallbash:
kylecp1979 Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Have you tried capturing your exit keys in rocketluncher? I'm not at home right now but it's in the global settings tab.
howardseth Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 Thanks for the responses.. I had a sense that I was in the right place but if you would be so kind to please give me a few steps.. 1)RocketLauncher Global Settings (Mapping) (set abc - xyz) 2)Keymapper (set abc to xyz) It is not intuitive.. Thanks for the help..
howardseth Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 Thanks for your help.. Top right side capture keys got it! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
swimminginthoughts Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 If you have the model with the trackball, I would change it from 1&2 to something else. The first time you're in the middle of Golden Tee, bowling, or something else and someone rolls the trackball and hits those two keys, you'll thank me!
howardseth Posted February 17, 2016 Author Posted February 17, 2016 @swimminginthoughts.. I made the change .. thank you! Next up... Visual Pinball
