rastan Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I've been using Turbo Engine for TG16 and then I removed that system from my Hyperspin but lately I've been going back to certain systems and giving them a second chance as well as trying to tweak them up so that they look better than whatever crappy settings I had them at... for the hell of it I tried TG16 with Mame and it wasn't too bad.. actually looked a little better resolution wise but I guess I didn't play around with turbo engine too much. I probably have every single TG16 emulator in a archive file somewhere but right now I'm thinking about using mame. any opinions?
Anpanman Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 It works. My main gripe is that most recently, PCE/TG emulation has taken up significantly more CPU overhead in mame to emulate the system.
bulbousbeard Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 It's not good enough. Too many random glitches in games. I don't find it acceptable to load games on a cabinet or dedicated system if there are noticeable graphics glitches in them.
