mihaliousa Posted March 4, 2016 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Hi there Hyper spinners! Anyone experiencing issues with mame2003 core in retroarch? Several wheels of my hyperpin setup are using this core (atari classics, data east classics, konami, jaleco etc.) and seems to be broken at the moment - games will not work. I have tried mame git and mame4droid, however the games in these wheels are only mame2003 compatible so i get the same result. Any ideas? Thanks! Styphelus Posted March 4, 2016 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Go back to the old core that worked. However, if I were you I would use MAME instead of Retroarch. Retroarch is good for certain systems but just because there's a core for a particular system, doesn't mean you should use it. Plus Mame runs a lot better on it's own.
