majorspawn Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Hi Guys, Been really struggling with xpadder and the Raphnet 4nes4snes usb connected to 2 SNES controllers. Please see the video below for a full rundown on setup and issue faced. I would be really interested in knowing if anyone has successfully mapped the adaptor + SNES pads to xpadder. My real need is to start up xpadder and have both pads mapped to keys, then close the xpadder.exe and restart it at will via script and have the 2 profiles for 2 pads active once again. Nice and simple. [ yt ] [ /yt ] Thanks MS no solution to this but i have a workaround, No matter what i did I couldnt get xpadder to map both player 1 and player 2 so i was stuck with xpadder obn player 1 profile only. So what i did was, I used eventghost to start xpadder for player 1 profile only when in HS to control the wheel. When exiiting HS and starting emu i used eventghost to start joytokey to TTX and no xpadder and joytokey for standard emus. Note joy2key and 4nes4snes by default did not work for me when controlling HS only xpadder. So i besically used a combination of 3 across all of my setups. JoyStickKilla Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Can't view the video right now but I am guessing your issue is each controller isn't assigned the same id so isn't getting picked up the same by xpadder?

Also if I use something like joytokey they have individual GUIDs. My Arcade Projects: SNES PC Project Vewlix Cabinet LS-30 Rotary Joysticks

32assassin Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 what version of xpadder is that? I know I had problems with some versions, I never bothered upgrading once I got mine working. currently and staying with version 2012.05.01 and you should name your profiles to what RL expects example P1 P2

majorspawn Posted March 20, 2016 Author Posted March 20, 2016 Hi Guys anyone has some suggesting please? Please note as per the video this is just purely a xpadder questions and nothing to do with RL profiles etc. Im trying to find the root cause of the issue and not over complicate matters with complex configuration. Thanks in advance. My Arcade Projects: SNES PC Project Vewlix Cabinet LS-30 Rotary Joysticks
32assassin Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 you might need to head over to the xpadder forums, the only thing I can think of is you might have a problem with the joystick IDs windows is assigning. not a solution, but you could map your joysticks directly to the emulator. that's what I do, for systems such as the Dreamcast, N64 all Playstation systems. their are too many letters to assign to the (4) profiles. So I map my joysticks to the emulator and load blank Xpadder profiles that only has my exit sequence (Back+Start =Esc)

Registrations are disabled,I've also emailed the guy but he has not responded. I suppose I wanted to know if anyone here had worked with xpadder and 4nes4snes as its a pretty common usb board.
