lildivaaa Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Hey all, I know there has been some discussion in the past about launching HyperSpin without launching the Windows Explorer desktop interface. As most know, Windows Explorer is just a "shell" program that give you the Start menu, task bar, My Computer, etc. Basically the entire Windows interface. But it's been suggested at times to have HyperSpin launch without launching Explorer first. Basically, letting HyperSpin be the "shell" program instead of Explorer. The other day, I had a reason to look for such a program for my Plex Media Center...and found THIS! FrontFace Lockdown Tool: http://www.mirabyte.com/en/products/frontface-lockdown-tool/ It's a FREE program, meant for large video displays like kiosks and such. But the tool itself works for ANY reason you might want to hide Windows. I've given this a try with my HyperSpin setup and it works beautifully! Just a thought for everyone who might want to try the same. Cheers, Craig - Atlanta, GA.
Matt68061 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Interesting....can you explain your set up a bit more. Is it similar to an instant sheller? Basically I am wondering what happens when/after you "flip the switch" to turn on your cab. Thanks!
