Morning folks,hope you are all enjoying the sun,I took my Bartop to a BBQ and it was a hit,

The only problem was when exiting from games back to the menu the delay was quite long ( about ten seconds) some players thought they had broken it and kept hitting the power button

This is the only machine that does this

I have a feeling that its something I have played around with one of the options can anyone think of something that maybe causing this delay???

Couple of things. Can you test this with just the emulator running? To see if its an emu problem.

Try turning app quality down to low and see if that has an impact.

Have you updated anything recently.

Is it just mame you run?

no i have the main emu running seg nes etc,i think its the same for the them,what do you mean buy app quality?and no im yet to upate

The only time I've had a delay in returning to Hyperspin, is if I've been playing for long enough to allow the hard drive to shut down.

It then took about 10 seconds to come back on.

Cute photo btw, my boy is about 18 months and he loves Hyperspin.

Dam this is still a problem the length I'm playing a mame game is directly equal to the time it takes it go back to the mane wheel

It doesn't happen on any other wheel????

Any thoughts

Do you have the same things checked for every other wheel.

Have you unchecked all of those and tested? If the works you should create your own xml then there would be no need to filter, if that is the problem that is.

Ok done things I've done

Changed the power setting to make sure the hard drive isn't turning off

Matched some settings to other non delayed

Wheels

But I'm still getting a delay but now it's random some games go back to the wheel instantly

Other take from 20 seconds to 2 Minutes ??

It seems to be the longer I play the game the longer it takes to return back to main wheel

I have the latest version of mame?
