VNMan Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 just want to say hi to everyone on the forum... I have just upgraded my children gaming PCs to "latest" specs which means I now have 2 core2quad machines lying about. Did a search on you tube and found "Simply Austin" channel, awesome man, learned a lot from him :-) I hope the core2quad with 8 GB RAM is enough to get me going. Interested in 8 bit machines and of course Amiga, will try to get those up and running with hyperspin first, then maybe Atari ST and consoles....
JayC Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Välkommen! That machine will be more than enough if you want old-school stuff. Though you won't benefit much from 4 cores since many emulators use only 1 core, but that shouldn't be any problem in this case
