Hiding Adult Games in Plain Sight

I came up with a simple idea to hide my "Adult" games and still enjoy using Hyperspin with them which I'd like to share. On my desktop, I have two icons that both launch Hyperspin via a vbs script (=hidden launch as opposed to using a regular bat file). The first ( Pac-Man icon ) first copies a "Main Menu.xml" over the existing one without the adult wheel. The second ( Legs icon, right above the trash bin ) first copies a "Main Menu.xml" over the existing one with the adult wheel.

The result looks like this ( I'm launching with the Legs icon ):

Here's the "adult" vbs (the "default" works accordingly):

I'm curious of your wheel. If I want to do something similar... where did you get your theme/art/wheel pack/xml/etc? Did you just load it with mame adults or is it a multi system?

I haven't seen anything for any of the adult other than the mame theme pack on the ftp.

I think matt has a theme, several of them, for the default and there are adult themes for most of the games and an xml floating around on the ftp.

clay pidgeon has some mame themes in his folder fwiw but that is all I have come across. I ran a file and folder search on the ftp and found no files/folders with the word adult that came up.

But don't work genres on a per-wheel basis? I like a dedicated wheel for that.

I did pretty much all of that by myself. No, it's not MAME adults, it's mainly PC and Flash stuff, see e.g. http://hgames.wikia.com/wiki/IllusionGames

In that regard, it's multi-system, but I launch everything via the PC Launcher as multi-system with dedicated modules doesn't seem to work for me. For Flash, I have a vbs script that maximizes the flash after launch.

I did also look through all the folders before doing this but couldn't really find something useful for me. ClayPigeon seems to have a bunch of themes but these are game themes, not system themes, right?

Yea all of Claypigeon's themes are mame game themes only - no main themes/wheel artwork/etc.

If you started a folder on the ftp and uploaded to it I would be curious to poke around what you have.

I am not so sure how it's viewed by the staff but this is categorically rather devoid on hyperspin and it can be the most fun category with a few couples over the house and a few drinks involved.

Exactly :-) I don't want to share this particular theme / wheel as it's a little bit hard to maintain / extend (aspect ratios and such), but I thought that I could make a new adult wheel, including PSD templates. But what could be the theme? Animes? Bondage? Roleplay? Fluffy Clouds?

Or sheep, maybe?

I like the theme you have because it's clear but also classy. The wheel should be subtle... but not offensive when you scroll and accidentally stop on it in the company of some imho. The screenshots you shared thus far are classy

Share whatever you are comfortable with, no expectations or obligations have to be tied to anything.

I guess you could say I think the subject and section needs more... "exposure"

Ok, let's start with the XML. I've uploaded a XML to the ftp at "Upload Here/annomatik/Adult/Database", it contains 12 quite adult titles. You can find them on the web in various places.
