Parsec
Howdy Spinners! I finally going back to tackle the Commodore Amiga (an awesome puter I owned back in the day. I remember the big phone bills from downloading from the BBS's!) I have WinUAE working by loading a .adf disk image but of course I want to use Winuae Loader and with the WHDload set. I've followed some simple tutorials here, on arcade controls and youtube but still having issues. I've set the file path for Winuae and have the roms folder pointing at my WHD Games folder. When I go to the tools tab and try to test a game nothing show up. My WHDLoad set are zip files. Inside the zip is a folder with different files. Is this what I should be trying to run with WinUAE Loader? Any idea why nothing is showing? Here is some snaps of my settings:
Parsec
Followup, when I try to launch one of the WHDLoad zipped games directly from WINUAE. the Amiga launches but I get a "Runme.exe: unknown command" error. I check to make sure they were not double zipped. That was an issue someone else reported.
gman123
I'm having the EXACT same problem I can run .ADF games fine but when I try to run the WHDLoad zips, the emulator just hangs on the amiga "insert disk" screen. I have been trying to figure out how to solve this for a few days now. Seems there is a disconnect between whdrun.exe, winuaeloader and 7z. I can't seem to get winuaeloader to properly extract the WHD zips and then present them as media to run with winuae. Brutal. Dunno what to do about it really. gman123
Just so people know, I fixed this problem by deleting everything related to winUAEloader, redownloading the winUAELoader zip package and extracting it to the appropriate place (just so that any and all possible settings are reverted to defaults) and repathing everything in winUAELoader the way it should be, but making sure to only include the WHDLoad set and not the gamebase or other fields. Hope that helps anyone looking through these threads with winUAELoader problems.
rfancella
Fixed mine by making sure WinUAE 2.4.0 was installed. WinUAELauncher 1.78 does not work with WinUAE 2.6.x

This fixed my problem too. I had 2 days trying to make WHD games work. After I tried everything and plus 1000 things I just did what you did, delete winuaeLoader, Unziped again setup the path files and WOW.... it worked. After all this time and these tries. Thanks you very much
