DJQuad
Hey all, I'm toying with the idea of making a little backup/restore utility specifically for HyperSpin but in the meantime, are there any other system configuration files other than all xml and ini files for settings? DJQuad
Does anyone know what other file types should be backed up as far as settings/configuration itself?
32assassin
this are the folders you should back up in Hyperspin Database: your XMLs, and more important your main manu systems list Settings: all your per system configurations Media - in Rocketrlauncher Data: not crucial but your statistics folder Modules: you don't need to back up the actual Modules unless you modified them. but many systems have per game or per system configurations (example: PCLauncher ini) Media Profiles: your key-mapper profiles are stored here Settings: your emulator and rom paths system settings in RocketlauncherUI Settings: your default Rocketlauncher default Front-end paths
DJQuad
Yeah in the grand scheme of things, HyperBackup will have options for backing up Databases, Modules, ROMs, Media, Themes, etc. There will also be a minimal "Settings/Configs" option, which will be file types - all XMLs and INIs, but I'm not sure what other types. cfg and ahk maybe? Others?
