MontyQ
Well as some of you may know I just recently finished my Nintendo Popeye cabinet, which turned out fantastic. So it seemed I had half a sheet of wood left and decided since my kids love my cabinets so much I'd make them a bartop for them to play on. I looked around the web got some sizes and started going at it, so far so good. It has only been like 4 days and I just got the monitor mounted and the marquee plexi cut. My next steps are painting it and ordering some nice t-molding and art work for it. Here is the first picture I well continue to add progress pictures and updates as I can Remounted the monitor today as horizontal instead, think it well work out better. Tomorrow I well probably cut the t-molding slot out. Then all I need to do well be parts/art which once ordered and here should only be only a few hours of fun. Cut out the t-molding slot today and primed the bartop for painting. Ordered all my parts, now all I need to do is order some artwork for it. Did the t-molding in chrome and installed the art I got from Lucian045. Also made the holes in the plexi for the CPO. All I have to do now is install the controls and wire it all up. Everything is done all wired up and working great. I just used a Jamma board in this build as I already have a full HyperSpin setup on one of my cabinets as this was just for my kids to play around with. In the end from just left over wood I think it turned out nice. If anyone wants to see the full Popeye build it can be found here http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?27667-Finally-starting-my-Popeye-machine You can also see all my Nintendo cabs finished here http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?24735-Showing-off-my-finished-nintendo-cabs&highlight=popeye Thanks everyone for showing interest, always glad to share pictures
