question about romsets for different system

I have a romset for mame 0.172

and I wanted a romset for naomi and atomiswave emulators

I don't have the files but i saw the sized are the same,  reicast would play those mame roms or do i have to have specific ones? I wouldn't want to have alot of duplicates

I thought naomi and atomiswave where the same as dreamcast.

should I use retroarch with reicast core or stick to Nulldc (i heard recast sacrificed accuracy so that it would be faster in android platforms)

If you're using DeMul as the emulator for Naomi/Atomic wave then use the DeMul 1.7a(?) room set.

Forgot to mention for Recast I don't know. I've never heard of anyone using it instead of DeMul.
