In rocketlauncher, there are three basic profiles:

Hyperspin

RocketLauncher

_Default

The RocketLauncher profile is the one to edit for pause.

But can't get it to work.. Works fine in Hyperspin, but not in hyperpause :(

I can get the selection key to work, but not the left/right/up/down ?

SOLVED:

In JoyToKey, go into to Options tab. In the "Keyboard emulation mode" drop-down menu, select Alternative 2 (Scancode base).

I have the same issue with hyperpause not being able to recognize my xin-mo directional arcade controls.  I tried to use the suggested joy2key solution and it stll does not work.  Any other suggestions?

A couple of things:

1.  Make sure you have a global RocketLauncher Joy2Key profile created and configured, this is what Pause will use once it's toggled. (GLOBAL in left menu -> Keymapper tab -> Joy2Key subtab).

2.  Also make sure Joy2Key is set to your default keymapper (GLOBAL left menu -> Settings tab -> Mapping subtab -> Keymapper).
