skylinekiller Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I just moved over all my files with the exception of my ROMS. My roms stay on my 8TB. Is there a way to easily change all the rom and emulator directories or do I need to do this manually for each one?
Avar Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 You could just change the drive letter of the SSD to match the original install.
progets Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Not only can you change the drive letter but you could map to a different (second) drive letter too. A symbolic link is also a good option. From the command line you would use the mklink command. usage: mklink /d <link> <target> Example to create a fake/pointer directory C:\HyperSpin\Roms that redirects/points to the real folder at X:HyperSpin\Roms : mklink /d C:\HyperSpin\Roms X:\HyperSpin\Roms
rastan Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 just do it manually so you'll avoid headaches in the future.....
