Hey guys

 

I know this has been brought up before but just wondering if there has been any possible solutions for this "issue". I am creating a cabinet that will be a "dedicated" classic arcade build but I would like to have a main wheel to show a classic arcade skin before entering the mame subwheel. Has anyone had any experience in having a classic arcade skin without showing a main wheel that would act as a shell or cover before the mame subwheel?

Why not? You could also try just creating a wheel png that is a single pixel.

And can't you just turn the Main Menu wheel to always transparent or off in HyperHQ?

That tab isn't available for the main menu. I am still trying.

Anyone know of a way to get the wheel to not jump to another system/game?

So you just want one wheel on hyperspin right? a MAME wheel?  Then you hit it, and go into the games?  There should be an option for single system in hyperhq.  then just make your mame theme have arcade visuals in it instead.

I do only want one wheel but I want there to be a single main wheel that is in front of a the mame subwheel. I know I can change from multi to single wheel in hyerHQ. Just wanting to use the the main wheel arcade classics skin as well

I still don't see what the problem is? You want a main menu without any wheels in it right? and go to MAME wheel when you press enter?

 

I did just that, I just made a transparent wheel (posted below) and put it in the Main Menu wheel folder (Hyperspin/Media/Main Menu/Images/Wheels) and only had MAME in HyperHQ.

 

That gave me the MAME Main Menu theme with no wheel visible and when I press Enter I get to the games...am I missing something here?
