How To Map Hyperspin Buttons To Controller

Hi! I'm a noob when it comes to Hyperspin And I'm wondering how do I configure my eight button SNES USB controller to run with HS? If it comes down to it all just open Hyper HQ a bunch of times and (very)slowly make adjustments to the button mapping... but if anyone could tell me what exactly the buttons do, it would make it a lot easier to map out. Here's a picture of my controller and a somewhat confusing Hyper HQ joystick mapping Menu.

up is up

down is down

skip up and down goes to the next letter in the alphabet

don't remember what skip number does

hyperspin spins the wheel to a random game

genre brings up your genres if you have it setup

favorites brings up favorites

start enters a wheel or starts a game

exit backs out of the menu

Yeah you just set your buttons to whatever you want them to be. Although I don't think HyperSpin spins to a random game. I wish it did that, but it only seems to spin the wheel faster than normal.

@Mayhay. Having Joysticks (or trackballs/spinners) enabled in HyperHQ can cause control issues.

I believe what you should do is set it to keyboard controls, and then map your joystick to those keyboard controls using a 3rd party program like Xpadder or Joy2Key.

There are a couple tutorials here on how you are supposed to set it up, as well as Ghutches Start-up Script that helps make it easier.

I'd search for those.

Sorry for the super late reply but I ended up following Metalzoic advice and installed joytokey after a bit of fiddling it works great! Thanks for all your guy's help. :thanks: :thanks:
