shitoken Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 I have a complete set of rom in rar format. (iso, cue and wav) Failed using Retroarch seems none of the core suitable to this system. Which emulator do you use please recommend.
bdove67 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 So far, I can only get Final Burn Alpha to run them....
majorspawn Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 dont use mame or MESS as it emulates the 1x speed loading which is painful as hell, jesus you have to wait for like a minute in between stage loading. talking about this: use raine emu http://raine.1emulation.com/ fantastic neogeo cd emulator configure cd loading speed setting to disable the loading times, RL and HL support this emu fully, very easy to setup. this screen, change the loading emulation screen setting My Arcade Projects: SNES PC Project Vewlix Cabinet LS-30 Rotary Joysticks
Aorin Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I used Raine for a long time, but its videos modes never worked flawlessly, it randomly lost focus on launching some games, but it`s a nice emulator in general. I now use MESS to emulate NEO GEO CD, to avoid the long loading times as our friend majorspawn said above, I use frameskip, I bound the frame skipping to the right (in my unused right analog), it advances so fast, the loading times are as fast as the cartridge system now. For anyone curious its definitely something to have a fiddle with don't exclude it as an option. My Arcade Projects: SNES PC Project Vewlix Cabinet LS-30 Rotary Joysticks
rastan Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 other than better music and the monkey lol... and I think there was a game that had extra levels or was just better on the CD version.... what was the big deal with the Neo Geo CD vs the carts other than price.
majorspawn Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 You cant beat the music its amazing. I owned the neo cd console in the past and you could not beat the soundtracks very immersing. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk My Arcade Projects: SNES PC Project Vewlix Cabinet LS-30 Rotary Joysticks
shitoken Posted July 19, 2016 Author Posted July 19, 2016 Wow been away for a week this become HOT! Thank you bros, will definitely will kick try Raine first , my MESS is dead need to reset up again. One more thing I've checked my rom sets are like (ISO, CUE & WAV files) I can feel bed smell here.
majorspawn Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 No thats standard raine reads the cue files. Just make sure each game is in its own folder. They normally do anyway. You can also try universe bios for neo cd. Works well across most of the games with a few exceptions like kof99 and samsho2. I got around that by using the alternate emulator option in HLHQ and pointed these to another instance of raine running standard neocd bios . shitoken Posted August 3, 2016 Author Posted August 3, 2016 I have installed Raine and is working now, can you suggest me which shader and video setting to use to get close to real console screen? How do we set the controls input? I tried using the input but it seems all settings are for the emulator settings inputs none of them for joystick. I am using ipac ultimate with default mame configs.

Means I need to run each game and set it? Tapatalk を使用して私の A0001 から送信
