ro1and
Ok guys, I am having trouble with settings on RetroArch. I have Atari 2600 games that when launched they all appear small screen to the top left hand side. I followed some forum here about this problem which you go to settings then video settings and change the aspect ratio index. Which I am doing that and choose the one I want (and you can see it on the background, that it is changing) which is good and all. So I go back and save it. So When I launch it again, it goes back to the small screen/ left top corner????? What am I doing wrong? Also when you save it ...do you save it under save current config or Save new config??? Please help. Thanks
ro1and
Also same thing with trying to fix the cracked sound on some games. I go to settings on retroarch after I hit F1. It seems like it doesn't save the process when I change it. Please help. Thanks.
scooter1974
When you save, are you saving a new config or saving the current config?
ro1and
I'm saving to a new config. Is that right?
scooter1974
When you have the 2600 running, press F1, make your changes and save the current config. When you are setting up a core for the first time, you open Retroarch, load the core, make changes and that is when you save a new config. That is my workflow, so I hope that makes sense. kylecp1979
turn save on exit on. That will save any changes you made when you exit it retroarch
ro1and
Thank you Kylecp1979!!!!!! That worked!! Now I know how to save on retroarch. But how do i get a full screen or centered screen without the sound going haywire and the speed slows down. What settings are you guys using? I read somewhere that if you put "Core provided... it should work. Which i do and it gives me a centered screen, which is good but the sound is choppy and it lags. Thanks for your help. ro1and
I guess my question is... What other settings should I look for? I'm not picky, all I want is for my game to be centered and for the sound to sound great and normal speed. Thanks.
