Hello,

i would like to add sin and punishment to the rom list for N64. Can anyone please let me know which text file to edit to edit it into.

Thank you

You would add it into your N64 HyperSpin database following the same structure as the other games in the XML.

definitely a few reasons not to do it this way but I just scan the folder with certain emulators (especially when I don't care about the info that is lost)

So,

1.my Hyperpsin/databases.N64 folder does not have specific games listed, it has several types of genres (action games.xml, fighting games.xml, etc) Any clarifcation on how i would specifically add just one game

2.. before i follow 1 , can you elaborate on reasons why not, and certain emulators is pretty vague , can you say which one would do it for this game and how to scanning it would add it to the HS bd.

..and thank you, all info is def welcome.

1. Your database folders will have an XML containing all games, this is your actual database. Genre databases also go in this folder which is why you see a bunch of those. You'll also have a genre list xml. They all go in here. Open the actual database (possibly called N64.xml or Nintendo 64.xml). Add the game you want to add if it is missing, name the rom tag to match the naming of your rom exactly (caps and all). Of course that won't do any good if your emulator won't play the game.
