Best Wii Side Scroller games for arcade control.

Hi all.

 

Quick question: What are the best Wii games that work well with arcade style controls? Side scrollers? Fighting? 

 

Currently i have Soul Caliber, Luigi's game and some random racing game that doesn't work well with an 8 way joystick.

 

Any list of games that you guys think would be great!

So quick question: When we say classic controller, are we speaking specifically about the D pad vs analog stick controls? I ask because I've run into that issue recently with a few games ( Mario kart, etc ).

 

Im wondering how well smash will play just based on the use of analog. Like ive been playing Total Carnage ( never knew there was a sequel of sorts to Smash TV until a week ago lol )., and using my arcade 8 way. It works well because thats what the original arcade used. I don't think analog or D pad makes much difference in a game like that. In need for speed though, im sure it does.

I do remember playing Smash Bros with just the D-Pad, the other games I'm not sure about.

Muramasa the Demon Blade and Dragonball are great sidescroller games for Wii
