Advice on PC Build

Looking to build and run up through Cemu at 1080P max settings.

There was a trhead here the past few days talking about GPU's that Cemu won't work with.

Might want to check into what will and won't work with it if that's an emulator you want to run

For newer systems you can't have enough horsepower in the cpu and later in the gpu (for not yet implemented graphic filters)

As you can see for emulators like dolphin and so on

I was about to build, then I stopped into Goodbytes, the Goodwill's used PC store and picked up a i5 3.3ghz, Nvidia 630GT for $229   Not getting me to the moon, but it's running Tatio TypeX and Dolphin no problem. All of Hyperspin runs SO smooth.  

I don't plan on going into current (or slightly previous) gen systems so its working great for me.

Thanks ive already bought motherboard, power supply and memory sticks so committed at this point.  not sure what your post is implying ChrisKant..... sorry for confusion.

For emulation on newer generations of consoles like PS2, PS3, WiiU, Wii there is more Ghz always better. There is no really need for more than 2 to 4 Cores. And if you want to have some Graphicfilter like GSLS or SSAO or whatever you also need a better GPU. 

 

I have a i-5 4690S (would be better if this where a K) and a Geforce 970 with 16GB Ram and there are some lags in PS2, Wii and of course WiiU Gaming in 1080P
