Xpadder crashed and errors when using emulator profiles

I have tried numerous times to set up a custom control scheme for jnes with xpadder. I plan to be able to exit a game with the controller rather than the keyboard and also bind the d-pad and thumb-stick to the arrow keys. Every time I enable the keypadder for the Nintendo entertainment system xpadder crashes when i launch a nes game through hyperspin. I get an error saying Access violation to address (some numbers).

My RL never loaded an xpadder profile after i created it so I moved to joy2key, and that has worked perfectly ever since.
