ejay81 Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Running into an issue trying to launch dreamcast games with either NullDC and Emule directly from within RL. When I select a game and right click to choose the emulator to launch the game with it just sits there, no error or anything but nothing loads. Emulator and roms are defined, just seems odd. Any ideas if I'm missing something specifically that Dreamcast needs for it to properly launch via RL?Thanks!
JoyStickKilla Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Just click the little red rocket to launch it in the defined emulator. Have you set the emulator up on its own and ensured you have it set correct in rlui?
ejay81 Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 Yup its not running in the background and its setup in RL. No idea why it wont launch a game, no errors or anything. Just sits there. if try to launch it with a Dreamcast emulator I don't have it errors out as expected. Yes I have ran both Emule and NullDC on their own with no issues.
ejay81 Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 can someone chime in and agree with my setup (not focusing on HS as its calling to RL and has all the proper album art and database file in place as it sees all the games). 1. RL Dreamcast Emulator created 2. NullDC defined as default emulator 3. Rom path provided 4. Game Audit ran and 100% green (all games found no issues). HIt launch via rocket launcher on game list and nothing happens.. no errors or anything. Again emulator will launch fine outside of RL. I must be missing something stupid.... Happy to fire up a TeamViewer session if someone is willing to take a looksy
ejay81 Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 Ok started from scratch with new download of NullDC and all and its working. Not sure what I did different this time but happy camper. Now only if I can get the emulator exit key to work with it. ESC exits and goes back to HS, but I have JoyToKey combo setup to do that (Start+Coin) and not working with NullDC, all other emulators its fine.
