thenoob Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 It's the simple things...!! After 100's of Hours learning rocket launcher etc I have come to love this stuff. BUT, all my retroarch systems stretch to full screen, my name does not. I'm "true" in main settings for full screen, bezels turned off. I've looked in the module, I'm not sure if the problem exists in those options? I have glsl enabled not too sure if that's hindering it? My monitor is small as is the Shinobi cab so I'd like to fill up the screen if it all possible.
thenoob Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 It seems to load in full screen "Hit left/right screen" Then as soon as the game loads, it crops. I've looked everywhere and made sure every bezel option is off, kind of confused
thenoob Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Forgot to add Dell e197fp 5:4 monitor with 1280 x 1024 I'm new to the technical side of monitors so go easy!!
kylecp1979 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Try setting your resolution to auto in mame and see if that helps at all. You have an odd resolution on your monitor
thenoob Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 What would you recommend for a good resolution? I've never messed with display settings I'm using mameuifx 0.170 at the moment I should set it inside mameuifx? Should I leave the hyperhq display settings blank?
kylecp1979 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 if you can change the resolution in mame change it to the resolution size of your montior and see if that helps.
thenoob Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 No dice on the settings Here are some screenshots of my settings in mameuifx and rl Edit- sorry for the blurr they uploaded like that wtf.
thenoob Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Mark as solved *****untick wide screen stretch in mame*****
kylecp1979 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Glad you figured it out! Sorry I wasn't much help I use the CLI version of mame so I'm not to familiar with mameuifx
