Here i put the information included into the Readme file to explain what it does : I) Work to Use it ? =============================== - Just point on a Rom Folder and Clic on Start Button - The Tool will search infos on ScreenScraper - HyperSpin XML Generation - HyperSpin XML Genre File : File genre.xml et All genres xml - Donwload Wheel Carbon Found Installation : ------------ Unzip and launch ScreenXMLScraper_US.exe The tool works on Windows 32 ou 64 bits II) What does this Program ? ===================================== CRC ROMS CALCULATION : -------------------------- CRC Calculation for each Rom in the selected folder. Search on ScreenScraper for the CRC identification File extension not taken : ----------------------------------------- File present into the selected folder with these extensions are ignored : jpg,png,gif,psd,doc,docx,xls,xlsx,txt,ini,xml,html,tsv,csv,pdf,wav,mp4,flv,sav ROM File identifed : ----------------------------- If the CRC is found, then informations are taken (Description, publisher, rating, year, genre) and added to the XML If not Found, only the name of the Rom is added to XML with the same description too XML Generation XML : ------------------ The System File is nammed HyperScreenXmlScraper.xml, the file genre.xml (if at leas one genre is found) and each genre xml on the CURRENT program Folder Download Wheels Carbon : -------------------------------- Les Wheels matched with Roms (CRC) are downloaded from ScreenScraper into \Wheels_Carbon LOG File : ------------------------- The file ScreenXMLScraper.log trace all informations found or not.
