PC Engine Cd / Turbografx CD working in mednafen

There is my config for this system working in hyperspin

First of all you have to put the syscard3.pce bios in your mednafen directory.

Then you have to write a command to tell mednafen were the bios is

mednafen -pce.cdbios [path to the bios.pce]

Now we're able to run cd images of pc engine CD

If the cd images aren't in the BIN/CUE format it will be necesary to edit the cue file and set the correct path to the includes files on it.

I am trying to get this to work, and I am lost at the part where you say to write a command to point mednafen to the BIOS.

Could you help a dumb guy out and give me a step by step for how to do that?

Also for the BIOS files I have 7files with names like: [bIOS] CD-ROM System (Japan) (v1.0).pce, [bIOS] TurboGrafx CD System Card (USA) (v2.0).pce, [bIOS] TurboGrafx CD Super System Card (USA) (v3.0).pce, etc etc.

Do these need a specific naming convention to work, or is the current names OK? (Do I need them all?)

Open a cmd window

Start ----- Run and type cmd

Go to mednafen folder an write the code

mednafen -pce.cdbios [path to the bios.pce]

for example the path to the bios could be

c:\hyperspin\emulators\mednafen\[bIOS] TurboGrafx CD System Card (USA) (v2.0).pce

The sentence in the cmd window will be

mednafen -pce.cdbios [bIOS] TurboGrafx CD System Card (USA) (v2.0).pce

I hope people still check this post! I was able to get it to load in command line, but not from Hyperspin, here are my settings:

This is how easy this really is "TURN DAEMON TOOLS OFF",fired mednafen up n the game works,in hyperspin nothing apart from a audio until i turned daemon tools off,i feel a right carrot,lol,you dont need to alter the text any different than normal,tried it...didnt work,ive tried finding threads to help me and i couldnt even find one,just go in hyperlaunchhq turn daemon tools to false,viola

this worked to get mednefan working for cue/bin files but how do you get ccd/img/sub 7zip files to run? Mednefan I'm reading supports ccd

For myself, Retroarch doesn't play nice with my monitor/HDTV dual screen setup. If I set it to Duplicate under screen settings, Retroarch loads to a blank screen. It unsure the game (music and sounds) but a blank screen on both monitors. I've tried numerous things to fix the problem but can't figure it out. So I use individual emulators. The only issue I have now is ePSXe does the same thing. A bit frustrating, but I guess anytime I play on my TV I'll have to go into the PC settings and make the TV my main screen and run it from there. Sure it's only about 15 secs of work... But it bothers me.
