Hello,

So far other than the learning curve of setting up Hyperspin I have very much enjoyed beginning and creating my own Hyperspin setup. I have run into a small issue affecting only a few NES games and causing them to not show up in Hyperspin. These games are in the same location and are even found in rocketlauncher and successfully launch from there if needed.

Different screencaps relating and displaying the issues are linked and included below.

I greatly appreciate any help or suggestions you guys have to offer!

EDIT: Solved, Thanks for the help and suggestions and by checking various settings I found on Hyper HQ i had a filter in Navigation/Themes ignoring all roms without corresponding wheels. Curious to why these two were the only games omitted I checked out the wheels folder in media to find that the two were named "Hudson's Adventure Island" and "Adventure Island 3" instead of just "Adventure Island" and "Adventure Island III". Needless to say I will keep the filter off to see if any other games are ignored from misnamed wheels but thanks for everyone's help solving this!

This could be an issue of capitalisation. You need to match the exact filename from the database to your roms. Don's Hypertools will help you with that which can be found in the download section. Make sure you haven't checked any of the wheel filter boxes on the navigation/themes tab in HyperHQ. But it's hard to tell exactly where your problem lies, an added screenshot from your rom folder would help to give a conclusive solution.

On an added note, you will have to resize your artwork (wheels, carts, box covers,...) if you use a 16:9 screen. I can clearly see that the boxart and wheels you use hasn't been resized. Hyperspin was build to work with a 4:3 ratio and therefore the art will be stretched on a 16:9 ratio screen. You can use fotosizer to resize the art to a 75% width of the original image. Some artwork packs already are pre-squashed and you can tell if they have 16x9 in their filename or description when you download them.
