WINVice Issues

Hey everyone,

 

Hoping someone can give me an idea of what I need to do ..

 

I have a heap of c64 roms and they load up all fine but when I am playing the games the speed is so fast. any idea on how I can slow the games down because playing in fast speed is not what I was hoping for

Hi,

I don't understand your post. You want to play c64 games with winuae emulator? Winuae is for Amiga games. Please let us know exactly what you want to do (what emulator, what games...) and perhaps we will be able to help you.

If you use winvice for c64 and it's too fast, try to disable warp mode with alt+w.

yeah, you could be confused? UAE is for Amiga... WInVICE is for C64... and there is a option in WiVice that warp speed or something... basically to speed up loading/etc. and you probably turned that on?? I have it mapped to a button on my controller so I can just turn it on and off when needed.

Have you got warp switched on? you can see the hot keys in the menu, might be alt-w.

Thank you because I was swinging back and forth between working on c64 and amiga games I had my mind all mixed up..

 

You guys were right I am using winvice with c64 and winuae with amiga and I loaded up the game and pressed ALT W and it slowed it down

For slow loading games you can speed up the loading time or for games that long ass intros that can't be skipped
