Control setup problem

I was using an x arcade stick with my setup but my joystick went bad so I went to switch to using a wired xbox360 controller and now controls for the actual hyperspin and selecting emulators and roms I cannot get it to use my controller. I have went under hyperHQ and set it up there but it seems to be only seeing the setup for the keyboard controls nothing else? IS there something I am doing wrong

This is a well known problem. Untick the box for using a joystick and instead use Xpadder to convert the signals from your controller into keypresses. Look around the forum and you will find other people have already discussed this as it comes up quite often.

ok thanks but what I did discover was that I had an older setup with hyperspin 1.xx and when i ran it it worked fine with the controller but the new updated hypespin screws it up imagine that!!

Yes it does work fine with version 1.0 , it's just the new versions it's screwed on.

Dear Friends i am using http://www.ultracabs.co.uk/usb-interface--standard-joystick-set-109-p.asp controller for my hyperspin and i have s problem on controlling multi wheel cosoles.For example : If i am in the main menu i control everything ok but when i choose a console my controller goes "dead" and i have to switch of my computer. When i use single wheel it works fine . How can i make it work for multi wheel?
