arcader
Hi guys What needs to be done to have wheel sounds play? I have a NES wheel with a couple of hundred mp3 files in this folder: D:\HyperSpin\Media\Nintendo Entertainment System\Sound\Wheel Sounds The sounds play fine in HyperSpin. If I remove all of those sounds and replace with some WAVs I have created myself, they don't play. If I delete the WAVs and just pop in 1 or 2 of the original MP3 files I don't think they play. If I re-save the WAVs as MP3s they don't seem to play. Is there any documentation about this? I must be missing something or being daft! Do you need a certain number of sounds files in the folder? Do they have to be MP3 - and of a certain bitrate etc.? Thanks for any help you can give me.
arcader
Just to clarify, when I say wheel sounds, I mean the sounds you hear as you scroll through your list of games in any particular wheel. TIA
SubZero
Yeah i think they have to be in mp3, convert the waves to mp3 and check is all i can say. havent been playing with the sounds for years. as for the bitrate that doen'st have to be a problem if iit 192kbps or 320. in mp3 it still has to play. arcader
Hi guys - thanks for the info. Yes- they just need to be proper MP3 files. I converted the WAVs to 44100 128kbps MP3s, exited and re entered the theme, and low and behold they worked. Thanks again!
