hi, i hope someone can help me. i'm sorry if this information is elsewhere. if it is, i have not been able to find it. i have searched through the forums. i'm trying to set up bolt-on on my nephews computer (windows 7 64bit). he has a Logitech f310 controller.

Central Issue:  Getting Logitech F310 controller to work with hyperspin.

What I have done:

I have used joytokey, everything works fine. the buttons light up no problem. i selected the ( Stick x 1 + POV x 1) setting for the xbox 360 controller and it works fine. FYI I have tried those other settings too.

On the back of the F310 is a switch that switches between xinput and directdraw or w/e.. and i have it set to xinput as per instructions for hyperspin i've read elsewhere. (but again, i've tried it both ways)

Anyways, I'm very very confused. I downloaded and extracted the Hyperspin Bolt-on (the big full complete package, btw is it complete?).  I previously renamed the drive to D:, and extracted using Winrar to the root of D: as instructed. I don't know if I should use this startup script, or this F310 ini file somehow somewhere, or if I should be doing everything this says to do or if that will further break the bolt-on edition.

There has to be a simple way to use this controller, its a great controller. Any and all help would be very much appreciated, I would be very grateful.  Thank anyone in advance that wants to chime in.

I forgot to mention.. i opened up the settings.ini file to see what it said and at the bottom it says this:

Keymapper_Path=
Keymapper_Profiles_Path=D:\Arcade\Keymapper Profiles\

and i checked the path, there is no keymapper profiles folder in the arcade folder.. could this be part of the problem?

I have that controller and it works fine with hyperspin... and windows in general. I use it with Xpadder but that's only to use it with emulators and programs that need key to joystick.. other than that the controller should work prefect with hyperspin. I have mines set to Xinput and when using hyperspin for the most part I just have to make sure I press the mode button (so the light is on) but for some emulators I may have to switch modes again.

As for your version of Hyperspin.... I assume you downloaded a pre-configured setup and that could be your problem...  what exactly isn't working? you can't control hyperspin front end? or you're having problems with the controls not working on emulators or both????

thank you so much for your help!  i'm sorry i haven't been able to reply sooner.

okay, i can't control hyperspin front end.  yes, it is the pre-configured hyperspin bolt-on edition. i am going to set up xpadder and see if that works right now and reply back.

the hyperspin bolt-on wants you to use joytokey.. but i followed their instructions and nada.. anyway, i've got my joystick in xpadder but configuring the buttons is another story... how did you configure yours?

Okay.. it seems the joytokey directory in the root d: is separate from the other joytokey folder in the arcade folder.  Also there are no controller profiles for either joytokey or xpadder in rocket launcher UI .. I think this is why the gamepad isn't working but I have no idea what buttons to assign for each console.. I think if I new what buttons to assign for each console it would work. Any help on this?
