BroodOvermind Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 I have retroarch working perfectly for loads of other consoles, and I have retroarch playing playstation games on it's own outside of rocketlauncher/hyperspin. But for some reason, it simply refuses to cooperate. Is there some odd setting somewhere I have overlooked? A checkbox in rocketlauncher's settings or maybe a specific core I need to tell is to use? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
BroodOvermind Posted January 14, 2017 Author Posted January 14, 2017 oh wow totally forgot to attach the log.... psxlog.html
BroodOvermind Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 Hm, seems to still be happening. psxlog2.html
BroodOvermind Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 hmmm, actually it doesn't seem to be. Some of the roms launch properly through rocketlauncher now, but others caus a runtime error? Am I missing a bios file or something like that ?
BroodOvermind Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 There appears to be a missing file? Is there a repair/rename program I can run to check this? Or maybe somewhere I can grab a working romset?
BroodOvermind Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 Ugh, That is really frustrating. Renaming the file works but there is no way I am going through 1300 or so roms checking for misnamed files. I don't have a complete set anyways, so I guess I have some hunting to do. Thanks for the help! The emu and launcher work correctly now, just gotta set up correct roms haha
Trnzaddict Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 I ran into this years ago when the HS Project torrent was released. The included PSX set was a mess with 1000+ Images and the cue files were wrong for hundreds. Emu movies has a cue renamer tool but it's a convoluted multi step process. You're better off finding a HS ready PSX set that matches the DB. I am......Machine
