mar00n Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Can anyone please help? Every time I change the cable settings on NullDC to TV it manages to reset every time I use hyperspin meaning some of the games don't work. I get a message saying This game does not support the cable. Thanks My Hyperspin system so far: Atari 5200 100% -Atari Jaguar 100% -Atari Lynx 100% -Gameboy 100% -Gameboy Color 100% -NEC TurboGrafx- 16 100% -Nintendo 64 100% -Nintendo Entertainment System 100% -Nintendo Gameboy Advance 100% -Nintendo Virtual Boy 100% -Sega 32X 100% - Sega CD 100% -Sega Game Gear 100% -Sega Genesis 100% - Sega Master System 100% -Sega Model 2 100% -Sega Saturn 100% -SNK Neo Geo 100% -SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color 100% -Super Nintendo System 100%
keltoigael Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I had the same problems, I edited the ahk and changed the cable to 3 instead of 0, it fixed all the games that had the same issue you are having. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGAi8dJWR4bpg1oRfItcPCw
mar00n Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Hey thanks man that worked perfectly! There is something about the new video settings that make it look alot more genuine too. *Pint My Hyperspin system so far: Atari 5200 100% -Atari Jaguar 100% -Atari Lynx 100% -Gameboy 100% -Gameboy Color 100% -NEC TurboGrafx- 16 100% -Nintendo 64 100% -Nintendo Entertainment System 100% -Nintendo Gameboy Advance 100% -Nintendo Virtual Boy 100% -Sega 32X 100% - Sega CD 100% -Sega Game Gear 100% -Sega Genesis 100% - Sega Master System 100% -Sega Model 2 100% -Sega Saturn 100% -SNK Neo Geo 100% -SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color 100% -Super Nintendo System 100%
gigapig Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I tried looking into this but when I fire up Nulldc it crashed. It was working fine a month ago, its the trouble with running emulation on an open system and not a cab.
keltoigael Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Giga what is it doing? I had something similar before and I had to manually delete the settings.ini and reconfig it again. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGAi8dJWR4bpg1oRfItcPCw
gigapig Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Thanks man, but I thinks it's just one of those problems, only an OS reinstall will fix, but I could be wrong. I tried deleting the .cfg file and changing a few settings but no good. Here's what it does. And here is some info from event viewer.
keltoigael Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Oh man a ntdll.dll error are not nice. Did you recently have any service pack's or security patches? Do you have all the proper .net framework? *edit* I would firstly backup your nullDC folder and do a fresh install to see if it will get around the error. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGAi8dJWR4bpg1oRfItcPCw
keltoigael Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I found this it looks like ntdll.dll is the first dll in the string. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGAi8dJWR4bpg1oRfItcPCw
gigapig Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I found this it looks like ntdll.dll is the first dll in the string. Thanks for finding that. I've just been playing Grid 2 with my Son and that was getting a "display driver has stopped working" error every bloody 5 minutes. Time for some spring cleaning
keltoigael Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 You could also pop in a windows disk and do a start up repair, worth a shot. It is good for cleaning up corrupt system files. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGAi8dJWR4bpg1oRfItcPCw
gigapig Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 FYI After reinstalling the OS, nothing had changed. After a bit of a search, I found that it's the PuruPuru plugin causing the problem, So I've removed it from the plugin folder. Nulldc now works, so I just need to figure out the controls as the PuruPuru plugin was the one I was using.
