setting up x arcade tankstick/hs/mame

I have a pc with hs loaded for me.

I need to set up my x arcade tankstick controller (at least for mame)

I need assistance, any help appreciated.

default keys for hs itself?

shortcuts for exiting hs?

hiding my pc win?

From what I've read tanksticks seem to be tricky.

Make sure your joysticka, trackballs and spinners are disabled in HyperHQ first.

-If a tankstick works as a keyboard encoder then you can map your keys to match in HyperHQ, then map each emulator to match and you're done (unless you need to remap keys on the stick itself)

-If a Tankstick works as a joystick you'll probably need to use Joy2Key/Xpadder and possibly the startup script to get it all working right with anything. There's a Joy2Key guide in the tutorial section here, that's where to start.
