Urgent Help Required

Hi there,

I have recently purchased a full Hyperspin Arcade system in a full arcade cabinet from a company i wish to not say close to $3000 worth.

I was playing it last week for 2 hours switched it off. Came back the next day and the screen says No Signal.

I have changed all cables and found out it is the PC itself that is faulty.

I have brought my own pc down to the arcade plugged it in and it works.

I have sent back the pc to the supplier but no gaurantee its will be back before my big opening day. They are not offering any support at all.

 

So what i have done is this.

I have got another hard drive and copied everything from the original hard drive to my hard drive so i don't mess the original up.

I have plugged in the hard drive to my computer followed the suppliers steps to run hyperspin make sure the drive matches up for loading games.

I got an error that says "Main Could Not install the default Bebas Neue font because RocketLauncher does not have admin rights. Please browse to .........

Well i did that and the same message comes up.

If i run the program as administrator it opens all games however I have no controls on my arcade.

If i run the program normal i have controls but cannot load games.

 

A catch 22 if you may.

I have tried looking up You Tube and nothing is helping.

I am desperate as my opening is just over a week away.

Hey Matty, welcome to the forums!

Have you tried giving admin rights (set to run as administrator) to both the rocketlauncher exe, AND the hyperspin exe?

Another thing you can do is disable the UAC completely in Windows (Start button > Control Panel > User Accounts > click in "Change User Account Control settings"), and lower the bar to the minimum. Might need to restart Windows after this.

Yep done both with admin but i loose the arcade controls that have been set and have no idea how to program them ive tried following tutorials but nothing seems to work its a bit confusing.

I will try your fix when i get to my factory tomorrow however i don't think its going to work.

It might be that the machine is using the program Joy2Key or similar, that binds joystick buttons to keyboard keys. You might need to set that as admin as well.
