  1. I agree that it is easier for both managing as well as finding to have all the themes merged in the same section, however, if this happens, I believe that an aspect ratio field selection should be mandatory for themes uploads (not just an optional tag in it). I know that this might require a little programming on the site's back-end; I'm just thinking of being ready for what's to come.
  2. Thank you for your kind words Kolosoff Enjoy the set!
  4. Thanks for noticing it! It was not on purpose; seems that when I trimmed the scans, I inadvertently flipped that one. Here you go (also updated the Download file):
  5. Sorry ulao; I only know ulalá, fondue, and menage a trois Tell him to just type it all in French and translate it with Google translator; their tool has improved a lot and you will understand it all I'm sure.

This project along the Famicom clear logos one were the most intensive ones I have ever done, but still, it was a pleasure to make as the NES has a very special place in my heart and each cart I made brought me awesome memories. The entire set is 100% accurate to the original games (you will have grey, gold, green, blue, red, special, prototypes, unreleased; all types of carts made from real photos). There are some variations I made for some carts (as some games had more than one release/version). These are located in the Extras folder and labeled with an ALT/ALT2 at the end of their filenames. Surf around as maybe you find an ALT version you like more than the original one. Be aware though that I did not put too much effort on the alternate versions, so you might find low res stickers in there. The total pack goes over 1,000 carts! A special Thank You goes to: @juniorunderground for some of the FHD stickers I worked with @Wally Wonka for the special carts base pack @Aorin for the legendary task of scavenging HQ images for the latest badge! I put all my love into its making, so I hope you like it PS. Because of an issue there is when uploading files here related to its size, I had to split it into several parts (to not surpass the 100MB limit). This means that you will need all the parts downloaded before trying to extract the content from part 1. Once the issue is resolved I will reupload it in just one part or a couple.

This pack took more time that what I planned, but I am very happy with the final result! It has the entire USA set, plus PAL region locked games, plus Protos, plus Unreleased. The cart shapes, colors, and stickers are 100% accurate as the original games Thanks to @Yeuxkes for the SFC cart template I used as base for the PAL ones Enjoy! PS. Because of an issue there is when uploading files here related to its size, I had to split it into 9 parts (to not surpass the 100MB limit). This means that you will need all the parts downloaded before trying to extract the content from part 1. Once the issue is resolved I will reupload it in just one part or a couple.
  9. Ninja! Just a recommendation; type the video title as well above the embedded video, because in the news feed you do not see anything when you post, and with that text you might get more views. This is what I see:
  10. Keep your mouse click pressed on top of the topic title, and after two secs it should change to free text.
  11. I know; I have multiple FEs configured and all the artwork is symlinked between them so nothing gets moved/renamed. My point was not on a programming/configuring sense, but on a community collective thought point of view and how FEs are currently being seen.
  12. You are missing the point. And not all the users have RL on their sets (I for once do not have it).
  13. Nice post @progets and very interesting point of view for each FE; I mostly agree with you on them. I would like to add to your last paragraph that from a couple of years ago the emulation/frontend scene has got a major growth and the user base expanded incredibly in a short period of time (compared to how it was developing as a constant since the 90s). You can see nowadays A LOT of arcade cabs and minipc/pies sellers worldwide; even Nintendo/Sega/Sony are trying to get into the market. This scenario creates a visible gap in the emulation/FE user type; on one hand you have the oldschoolers, that know their emulation stuff since long ago, spent years configuring their front end and gathering and/or creating all the artwork and databases for it; and on the other hand you have the new comers that are getting most of the stuff instantly, and because of the FE market offer, they don't want to be hassled with configurations and learning curves, just want to have it all looking nice and play right now. Hyperspin at its current state is suffering from the above gap, because new comers will prefer easy configurable pre-curated and better looking on the get-go front ends, and old schoolers will either leave their configured HS untouched as they spent years in getting it where its at, or if they want a change/new air, will move to a FE that will not make them require another 5 years or so in getting everything ready all over again.
  14. Hey disk how are you? Havent thought about it. Let me get to the office and I will pack it up for you.
  15. Awesome contribution! Do you know to which version the script converts the CHDs to?
  16. Wally you crazy man! I LOVE these! Really appreciate your effort

Hey guys! For this set I reviewed all the current content in HS plus some other sites, as I wanted to be as faithful as possible to the original NES boxes, specially with the spines. The main stuff I am utilizing is from @slagram69 and from @Wally Wonka (Thank you guys for your amazing work!). I applied a custom 3d box template for this pack (similar to the Famicom one I did) for the Wally Wonka 2D covers set (and I removed the NES spine logos they all had), and another different template for slagram69's boxes, as those were already 3d, but I modified them to my own taste. In this pack you will find all the games that I have in my set, so expect licensed, unlicensed and protos. Cheers!
  18. Hey! I believe its there (maybe with a different name). But dont worry, I will arrive to the office and upload it for you.

I wanted to make this set since a long time (not only because I loved how we ended up doing the SNES real 3d box pack with SupraKarma, but because currently there is no standing 3d box pack with real spines for the Nintendo 64). This set contains all the USA releases, plus the Europe region locked ones. The majority of the scans and spines were grabbed from Nintandbox.net (awesome site for printing real Nintendo game boxes), the rest were grabbed from ebay sales and other Google sites. When no proper images were found for spines, I had to make them from scratch. Because of the type of sources, the size of the boxes ended up enormous Huge thanks to @SupraKarma, @adamg and @wallmachine for the Nintandbox source scrapping; it was a tedious job, so I really appreciate your help on that. To everybody downloading this pack; bear in mind it is a "real" set; this means that the front and side covers are not pristine, pure B&W with perfect coloring. This set was made with real box scans; some are in better conditions than others. The idea of this is to have a set that could somehow tell a story, that you could relate to, and feel the boxes coming to life. I know it is not for everybody, but since I made it for me, I wanted to share it Enjoy!

Hey guys! This is the complete (I think) set of NEC PC Engine cases in 3D. Thank you @SupraKarma for your awesome japan jewel cases templates (black and white). I did some minor modifications over them, but the template base is all you my friend! The 2D covers are originally from Tatsuya (from the Libretro forums), but I corrected some stuff in them and changed some color properties. The set consists in black and white jewel cases (as the PC Engine games did not come in boxes like Turbografx-16). The PC Engine games were produced in black jewel cases until the end of '91, and then started releasing in white cases. I reviewed the release date of each of the +300 games so the cases are accurate to it. I must say that I was not able to find proper spine scans for each game, and I did not want to search for them one by one, so what I did is a similar process like I did for the Famicom 3D box set; I created a default spine, and the color of it is customized per game. Enjoy!
  21. Is there an easy way to move to LTSB from a previous Windows version (8.1 or 10)? Like installation on top or something? Or do I need to backup, do a fresh installation and then move everything back again? Thank you guys!
