The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Hello, I figured I would start poking about at the forums.

I found this site through YouTube videos by "The AV Archivist". I was trying to find Retropie tutorials, as I have been messing with those little computers for some time. I was frustrated at the Hardware limitations of the pie to play N64 games, and decided to give this stuff a go.

I'm liking the 'Moar' power of the PC for emulation, and I work in IT so I have lots of old machines to use.

I was in High school when the N64 was big, so that is my go-to for nostalgia. The Overclocked Raspberry Pi 3 can play a handful of N64 games, and most of those, not very well.

Oh :) , you're the dude from YouTube! Great videos man, spot on tutorials. I appreciate how you get right to the point and don't go out on wild tangents.

Thanks I greatly appreciate the feedback! :D @gigapig has some great stuff too on his channel.

Personally I'm glad to hear you're going to PC route, especially if you're starting out with 5th generation console emulation. It's an addictive hobby so you'll never regret having a more powerful system to work with.
