THE CUBE Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Hi all i am new to all this and I have hit a bit of trouble. I had a hyperspin setup with sega genesis set up fine in RL all roms ran fine. I added to HLHQ and when I ran in hyperspin 1.4 it was fine. I then did the same with snes all fine in RL but when I go to select snes it just reloads the system menu and doesn't go to the roms. I did a fresh install of HS incase it was the snes that was the issue and it's now reversed snes fine and genesis now doing the same. I even tried added nes but that also just loops the the system menu screen. Please any advice would be great also anything I need to give you all let me know. Sorry I'm a noob at this and I have seen the community is really helpful and look forward to any assistance
volumetric Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Have a look at your rom extensions, and also any wheel filter settings (eg roms only\wheel only etc) in HyperHQ. Chances are you're accidently filtering all your roms.
THE CUBE Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 I'm at work at the minute but if memory serves I have roms and wheels ticked in hyperhq but this is the same for the system that is working fine. Also by rom extension could go go a bit more into that. I haven't seen anywhere I can filter them
Avar Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 @THE CUBE You have to have the rom path defined within HyperHQ with Roms Only ticked though so that may be true of one system but not the other. You set the rom extension in the same place.. Don't have HyperHQ in front of me atm but it's the first tab after you select the wheel you wanna adjust settings for.
THE CUBE Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 thats all sorted it. it was the wheels and roms fliter. just as I thought amazing help and fast response. All I need to do know is work out how to hide the wheels I don't have the systems for once I finish the setup up. thanks again all

If you just want to hide them and keep the structure inplace for the future. Find the Main Menu.xml in the location Hyperspin/Databases/Main Menu/Main Menu.xml Open it with a text editor (Notepad++ is the favourite app) Delete the entries that you dont want to see. You can also re-order them how you want Avars Official Tutorials can be found here Official HyperSpin Tutorials: They may help you with the little bits of initial setup Official Hyperspin Tutorials Playlist HS Android Overview & Install HS Android Base Pack Download My Tutorials
