unable to hide all of windows 7 startup

Hey folks. Some help would be great. I have finished my Hyperspin setup but am now just trying to hide the windows 7 startup. I have hyperspin starting at bootup and I used Windows7bootupdater2 to give me a plain black screen at startup. However inbetween the black screen and Hyperspin startup I am still getting the blue windows 7 screen and then my windows desktop before Hyperspin starts up.

Does anyone know how I can get the black screen instead of the blue windows 7 screen and get hyperspin to startup before my desktop appears.

Thanks.

Bruiser.

Reposting this from another thread that I posted it.

Not exactly sure if this is what you're looking for but here is what I did with my dedicated laptop which runs Hyperspin.

[Booting]

I have it setup so that it boots without any of the windows branding showing.. when I boot it shows a image of a retro NES controller with the words classic and I added text on the screen (where it normally would say microsoft or windows loading) it simply says Loading..... under the retro nes controller and on the bottom of that.. in smaller fonts it says Retro Gaming System.

[Logging in]

I also used the same Retro NES controller image for my windows login background.. and the cool thing with this is when I boot my laptop... my external display (TV) doesn't show anything until windows login screen so after booting... my TV will display the same image but in full screen unlike the smaller image that shows up on the booting screen.

[Windows]

I have a wall paper image of Mario set as the background image/wallpaper.. I have my task bar set to hide... and I also unchecked desktop icons so nothing shows (no recycle bin or folders).. I also put a short cut to hyperspin in my startup folder.

[Programs used]

There is something called "Windows 7 Logon Background Changer" (obviously worth noting at this point that I am using windows 7) this program is used to change the windows login background screen.

I also used a program called "Windows 7 Boot Updater"... this is used to change the windows booting screen (you can also edit any text that is on the booting screen)

Finally there is a program called "Resource Hacker" this is used to edit the C:\Windows\Branding\Basebrd\basebrd.dll .....you open the basebrd.dll within Resource Hacker and you delete the bitmap folder... (also worth noting you should back up the .dll before you mess with it) this will remove all the windows 7 branding that you see when you're logging into windows or when you're shutting down.

Was a simple process and I love the results.. even if technically I'm not bypassing the windows desktop but being that the task bar is set to hide and desktop icons aren't enabled and I have a custom background image... it just seems like a natural booting process straight into hyerspin.

When I start my machine... it boots up and the first screen is shows is a NES controller screen... no windows branding shows up at all. My desktop still loads but the background is a mario wallpaper and I have the taskbar set to hide and and I also replaced the windows pointer with a mario pointer and also a pacman image shows when windows is busy (replaced the circle that normally indicates windows not loading)

I added the pointer and pacman after I originally posted and didn't include those instructions but changing the pointers in windows is pretty easy in the settings and doesn't require any additional programs just need the images to use.

hopefully this helps.

Very good instruction.

I am only having problem with "Windows 7 Boot Updater"... I cannot even run it dont know why.
Is there a manual way to do this? change the windows booting screen (you can also edit any text that is on the booting screen)
