Mednafen PC Engine help

Ok, so I'm trying to get Mednafen working so I can play PC Engine CD and Turbografx CD games. I gave up trying to get Magic Engine to work with Daemon Tools and Windows 10. So I have it almost working but I'm getting graphic errors. When the games display, the graphics and displayed diagonally. Yes, that's right, diagonally. I'm using the PCE Fast core. I literally cannot find anything about this anywhere. Has anyone else experienced this? I know my games are verified so it's not that. I've tried selecting update cores in Mednafen but it doesn't do anything. I've attached a picture showing what I'm talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about this one other than perhaps creating a new config for that core in RetroArch. I also use the Med Fast core and it's fine.

Happens regardless of how I start the game. I've noticed that it doesn't happen with all games. Seems maybe it's a particular video mode that only certain games use. It happens in Ys I&II, Ys III, Prince of Persia, and a few others I tried.

Never seen that either. Maybe its those 2 roms? I beat ys 1&2 with pcefast on retroarch on my setup. So I know it plays great

It's not the roms. I've played them through Magic Engine outside of Hyperspin and they work fine. I'd prefer to use Magic Engine but it's such a pain in the butt having to mount the games with Daemon Tools.

Well then not too sure. Maybe test retroarch fresh download to a separate folder and test again is what I would do. If that didnt work probably would move to the libretro forums for your specific setup. Its worth it though, as not having virtual drives for me has been great. I couldnt use them for some reason. Good luck!

Tricky if its only certain games doing it. Do they run at a different frame rate or is the bios wonky? Is it the display (that's a long shot )?
