Centurion1a Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Hello, I am having a problem running my Hyperspin System. The error I am getting is as follows: "You cannot have a rom path set to the same path used for your 7z extract path otherwise your Roms may be deleted:D:\Arcade\Atari Lynx\Roms." I get the error when I run my Hyperspin and select the game to play. Before the error above, I also got this error: "You have virtual drive support enabled, but have not configured a path to its executables. Please disable it or set the path." If some kind person could help, would you contact me as soon as possible. Kindest regards, Donald.
BATTLEDONKEY Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Create a different folder for rocketlauncher to extract your roms to, then open up rocketlauncherui and change extracted rom path to the new folder path or as the warning explains to it may delete the original compressed roms along with the uncompressed roms if theyre all nested in the same folder assuming your roms are indeed compressed. These settings, both extraction path and virtual drive should all be somewhere on the first screen when u open up rocketlauncherui if I remember correctly. Then also in rocketlauncherui either set the path to your virtual drive (I.e. daemon tools) or if you are not using any emulator that requires it, turn it off completely. There are only a few emulators and/or systems that still require it but you can save yourself some headaches by switching to a different emulator that doesn't require a rom to be mounted in a virtual drive.
