Lamaman1971 Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Has anyone seen a decent review of these Pandora's box Jamma things doing the rounds?? I like the case and so on but not sold on the stock controls or that Jamma Board...but, if Im honest, haven seen one myself to make an informed opinion. Anyone?
adamg Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I have a 4S+ and over all I am happy with it. I would say it is nice if you already have a jamma cabinet. If you do not I would go with something else. Most games work fine, the menu sucks to navigate, Metal Slug with 2 players suffers majorly from slowdown. You know, standard stuff for an onchip emulator. Honestly I would reccomend spending a little more and using a jpac/raspberry pi running retropie. Much truer emulation and you can choose what you want on the machine.
Lamaman1971 Posted October 4, 2017 Author Posted October 4, 2017 That's great feedback - "all fur coat and no knickers" then. I've already built a small(ish) panel using some parts from ETSY and a PI3 and a bunch of Sanwa controls - so I guess Ill stick to finishing that project for now. It's not as fancy but its more than capable of doing the job. Plus it has a trackball, which is nice. Cheers Mark
