SupraKarma Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 RetroArch has a new NES core with very high compatibility (better than NEStopia), it's probably going to be the best once they work out a few issues. One feature that I found particularly interesting was support for HD packs. Another emulator called HDNes from a few years back allows the user to edit and replace graphics/sprites, and you can do all of that in the standalone version of Mesen, apparently. Now I know some snobby purists are probably disgusted by this. If you're one of them, this feature is *not* for you. Anyways, here's a screenshot of Super Mario Bros. You can download the pack here: https://github.com/lyonhrt/hdnes-projects Put the files in Retroarch\System\HdPacks\GameName
IceLancer Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 It doesn't hurt to post core link https://github.com/SourMesen/Mesen/releases ops thats..exe(emulator) ok my bad it seems core is already included in retroarch update http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/windows/x86_64/latest/ paypal.me/IceLancer
oldhag270 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 Are there any more HD packs floating out there,I haven't been able to track any others down.
SupraKarma Posted January 8, 2018 Author Posted January 8, 2018 There might be... I didn't try that hard, to be honest. Honestly, I'm surprised it's not more of a thing. SNES msu-1 support really took off, you'd think this would, too.
