Exiting Steam games

Hey everyone, quick question regarding exiting steam games. Is it possible to use your HyperLaunch exit emu key to do this? I looked into the PCLauncher file for steam, and tried a couple of different exit methods for each individual game, but didn't have much luck. I'm guessing it's best to just exit in game? (which is no prob)

I usually just exit via the games menu. Did you try all of the exit methods, of which there are 5?

Tried a handful of them without any go. Gonna do more attempts and see what i get

Exit in-game. That way you are sure you aren't losing any progress or anything like that.
