This is my first ahk so I hope it will not be to bugged.

I wanted a simple way to extract zip files and did not want to use another frontend to launch compressed games so I wrote a
custom ahk.

my script will launch the first supported file extension that it finds in-order from left to right using the entrys found
in the extension box in HyperHQ
elf,dol,gcm,iso,tgc,wbfs,ciso,gcz,wad,dff,zip,7z,rar
Example: if it finds a gamename.gcm before it finds a gamename.iso it will lauch the gamename.gcm

the script will search sub folders >:)

I have tested this ahk with Dolphin 3.5, 4.0,  4.5, 5.0 running windows 7 64-bit

Install and setup

1. Go to your hyperspin folder and open the settings.ini located in the settings folder

2. Change the line that says Hyperlaunch_Path=C:\Hyperspin\HyperLaunch\ to Hyperlaunch_Path=C:\Hyperspin\HyperLaunch.exe
Note:  point to the default HyperLaunch.exe that comes with HyperSpin

3. now add this to the line below the entry we just changed HSTemp=C:\Hyperspin\TempZip\
Note:  you can use any directory you like for the temp folder

4. Open HyperHQ click on Wheel Settings click dropdown and select the gamecube enrty
Note: if you don't have a gamecube entry add one via the main menu wizzard

5. Click emulator  pick a path to your emulator and your gamecube games folder

6. Copy paste the supported extensions for Dolphin emulator elf,dol,gcm,iso,tgc,wbfs,ciso,gcz,wad,dff,zip,7z,rar
Note: the zip, 7z, rar are for hyperspin so you can launch it from within hyperspin

7. Now exit HyperHQ

8. now place the ahk in the Modules > folder name of gamecube Example: Nintendo GameCube
Note: It's the exact name you used when you added the entry in the main menu

9. you must rename the script the exact name as the folder

10. launch hyperspin and test it out

Welcome fellow Hyperlaunch user. There are still a few of us here holding out.

Just a future request if possible.

Any chance you could do modules for 3DS/citra and WiiU/Cemu for HL as well? There are currently no modules for either using Hyperlaunch only Rocketlauncher.

Hey, no criticism or negativity implied, but just wondering why you guys stick with HL instead of moving on to use RL?  Benefits?

Currently using the last version of Hyperlaunch before it transitioned over. 409 systems tested/configured and everything works.

I read the rocketlauncher forums with posts saying how the latest autoupdate randomly broke "X" system somehow in my setup and say nope not going through that.

If you've got everything setup with Hyperlaunch and you like playing games instead of continually setting up frontends, then why bother with RocketLaucher.
