StevieMac
Ok back to this ha ha! This is all working now except for the music in game. The animation has music (sonic running across the fields etc) but the start music & in game music isn't loading even tho it's all named the way it reads the animation music. roms (Folder) Sonic CD (USA) (Folder) Sonic CD (USA) (Track 01 of 35).cue.ebm Sonic CD (USA) (Track 02 of 35).wav Sonic CD (USA) (Track 03 of 35).wav Sonic CD (USA) (Track 04 of 35).wav etc Sonic CD (USA).iso The animation music is 34! so it reads that. Does the ingame music need to be in another folder or named differently? I get ingame sound FX working fine too. All music tracks work outside too. Anyone got this working perfectly? thatman84
Whats the cue.ebm file?
StevieMac
Don't know I thought it needed it to run as it worked on my PSP with this setup I didn't change it. I think it's just a conifig file telling what ever to read the ISO file?
thatman84
Its usually just .cue May be why its not playing the music as its not reading that file. Set you ini settings to only have cue & CUE and rename your file. Include other types of file extention if you have games in a different format and are supported by the emu
StevieMac
Ok re-named the file & got the MegaCD load music & the sonic jingle music which wern't working before. but the Title screen & in game music still don't load. I checked the Sonic CD (USA) (Track 01 of 35).cue file & found it had the wrong names for the files inside so I cahnged them to what I have e.g. Sonic CD (USA) (Track 01 of 35).cue FILE "Sonic CD (1993)(Sega)(PAL)(Track 01 of 35)[!].iso" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2048 INDEX 01 00:00:00 To FILE "Sonic CD (USA)(Track 01 of 35).iso" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2048 INDEX 01 00:00:00 Since thats the names of my files but that didn't work either. I've also noticed the index for the audio files are the same it this correct? FILE "Sonic CD (USA)(Track 01 of 35).iso" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2048 INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "Sonic CD (1993)(Sega)(PAL)(Track 02 of 35).wav" WAVE TRACK 02 AUDIO PREGAP 00:02:00 INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "Sonic CD (USA)(Track 03 of 35).wav" WAVE TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 00 00:00:00 INDEX 01 00:02:00 FILE "Sonic CD (USA)(Track 04 of 35).wav" WAVE TRACK 04 AUDIO INDEX 00 00:00:00 INDEX 01 00:02:00 FILE "Sonic CD (USA)(Track 05 of 35).wav" WAVE TRACK 05 AUDIO INDEX 00 00:00:00 INDEX 01 00:02:00 etc
thatman84
Everything in the cue file MUST match the file names you have in the folder
StevieMac
Ok well done as always mate I found a space between the track names which wasn't in the cue file. Also looked online & cleaned up the cue file a bit as there were a few things that didn't look right. Nice one guys
